The hotel is a bit dated but clean and with a nice location. The front desk staff was accommodating, polite and attentive to our needs.. the rooms are adequate in size, modern in size and very clean. Only problem was aircon was hot because according to the staff it’s winter so we only have to open the windows. Breakfast was very good, with a lot of choices both hot and cold.

we (two couples) were in this hotel for four nights in october 23. my review: 1) even three star hotels provide water everyday but this hotel gives only one water bottle on the first day! 2) no coffee maker in the room which has become the norm. 3) no ironing table, when requested got one iron and an ultra small table in which it was difficult to iron even a hanky. 4)in this age of smart phones, tablets and laptops only one side of the bed has charging points while the other side does not. 5) there was no hot water for a day as there was some disruption due to weather. while nothing could be done by the staff there was no flow of information from them. they kept saying it will be fixed in "fifteen minutes " for several hours. the location is fairly good but they need to lose a star and reduce the rentals.

I have stayed at the Eurostars Lisboa Parque Hotel three times in the last few years, and I always consider this well-maintained modern and reasonably priced hotel for my stays in Lisbon. There are two metro stations and numerous buses within a 10-minute walk from the hotel; the 744 bus and the metro will get you to the airport within a half hour. The area is great for walking and sightseeing. There are restaurants, cafes, bars and supermarkets around the hotel. Mercado da Ribeira (Time Out Market) and the waterfront are a pleasant 40-minute walk away. I recommend getting a room with a balcony where you can enjoy morning coffee. The breakfast served in the restaurant downstairs is basic (but sufficient) for hot dishes and impressively diverse for pastries, fruit and juice. I absolutely love the beds, pillows and shower. Housekeeping does a remarkable job at keeping the rooms super clean. Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, which makes this hotel perfect for business travelers (in addition to tourists). My appreciation goes to Helen, Carolina (from the restaurant), Guilherme and Jorge for making my recent stay just perfect. I look forward to returning to this hotel in the future.

Stayed September 18th to September 25th of 2022. This trip was going to be a busy one, so getting a good nights rest was a top priority. Soon found out that was never going to happen. Check in was good, staff was friendly and efficient. Getting to the room though should have been a sign of things to come. First our brand new key cards didn't work. Once we did get in we found a ceiling panel was open in the bathroom. A few minutes later a guy knocks, then comes in with a ladder and closes the panel. No explanation, and who knows if he works for the hotel as he had no name tag or uniform. That should have been a clue though. The room was hot, 25.9 celsius, so I set the AC to 20 celsius; it never got past 25.4… the whole time we were there. It was hot in Lisbon, but the lobby and the other floors were always cool. I soon noticed the 5th floor was also hot in general. I waited a couple of days thinking I must have done something wrong, but the thermostat was basic... it simply wasn't doing anything. When I did bring it to the attention of the front desk they acted immediately, but after a day out I returned to the same sauna. I asked the front desk if they had a maintenance record, which they replied they did not. It seems when I mentioned it the first time they had sent an engineer up 5 minutes after. That would put me in the room. I was getting ready to leave and had the do not disturb sign on the door knob so the maid wouldn't be think I was out already. Apparently this thwarted the engineer and no follow up was done. I returned to the furnace that night. I asked about what happened and requested a room change and was met with a curt response that all rooms were booked. After all this was my fault. I have found most hotels have multiple door hangers for communication; one being, “No need to make up my room". Ssssh or Clean is all that was available here. I mean why not knock?; obviously someone had alerted to a problem in the room? Needless to say the AC never got fixed, my wife and I never got a good nights sleep, and no follow up or consideration was offered. It doesn't end here. The staff for the most part professional and friendly, but seem to be poorly managed and trained. The bar is the one exception thank goodness. Desk people great, but have no authority. Restaurant people were super friendly, but seemed disorganized and unsure of their responsibilities. The hostess has to seat the entire hotel, yet has to get you juice before seating another guest... WTF. There is plenty of staff in the restaurant to do that. They have plenty of time because most are unaware of the fact that plates need to be cleared when finished. It’s not their fault; it all suggests poor management. I felt bad for the staff on a whole. There was also a huge contingence of children with chaperones in for a weekend event. They simply turned the place into chaos, and the management never stepped in to remind them (the chaperones; after all they are kids) that there are other guests to consider. It was like a wild day camp for three days straight. Noise everywhere, even in the guest room halls to all hours of the night. They are kids I get that, but your a four star hotel you need to set the standards. At some point I found the lobby bathroom flush buttons were broken; never to be fixed in my time there. I mean at the very minimum keep your lobby together. I once stayed at a Motel 6 in California and felt it was the worst ever. Have to say this experience topped that... Motel 6 two stars at best. Now thats saying something. I’m disappointed because my stay a few years back at the Porto property was so wonderful. Maybe those folks can give these guys some tips, but for now I will never book there again.
